Meadow Lark's 18 Holes Of Championship Golf
Along the banks of the Missouri River in Great Falls, Montana is Meadow Lark Country Club. Meadow Lark is recognized as one of the great classic courses in Montana and has a reputation for it's sleek, undulating greens. The greens at Meadow Lark are the glory of the course, and it's defense against even the best of players. They feature humps and hollows, steps and terraces, false fronts and slopes in a number of different directions. They are protected by grassy swales, mounds and strategically placed bunkers. Getting to the green is quite an adventure too, as the fairways roll back and forth over a forested parkland. Pines, Ash, Willows, and Cottonwood trees, as well as sand and water make good driving a must! Water is in play on nine of the holes, with a series of ponds and the Missouri River providing the challenge.
The grand finale, known as "River Run", begins at hole fifteen and finishes on number eighteen where golfers must avoid the Missouri. While challenging for the best of players, the course is enjoyable for all golfers because of the great flexibility allowed by it's four sets of tees. Beautifully maintained by the superintendent and certified staff, the Meadow Lark Country Club Golf Course continually offers it's golfers a splendid venue to enjoy the game.
