  • Michael Bowman - General Manager
    • General Manager

      Michael has been married to his lovely wife Annetta for over 18 years and is the proud step-father of three grown boys. He was born and raised in Ogden, Utah, a graduate of Ogden High School and attended Weber State University.
      After high school and during college Michael worked in various restaurants as a maitre’d and waiter. He worked in the hotel industry for over twenty years, for such hotels as Rock Resorts, Hilton and Marriott. He was the Catering Director for the Ogden Marriott during the 2002 Winter Olympics, hosting Panasonic Corporation as a primary sponsor. Michael worked at the Ogden Golf & Country Club for almost 7 years as the General Manager. Interestingly enough, after joining the Club he learned that his Great Grandfather was one of the founding (established in 1914) fathers of the Ogden Golf & Country Club and served as Club President for 2 terms in the 1920’s. Michael enjoys all types of outdoor recreation, including cycling and golf. By far, his favorite is the wide open spaces of Montana bird hunting with his pointing dogs.

  • Scott Longenecker - Head Golf Professional

      A PGA Member since 2005, PGA Head Golf Professional Scott Longenecker is proud to lead the golf operations staff at Meadow Lark Country Club. He has over 15 years’ experience as a Head Golf Professional. He has received several awards from the WMCPGA for Teaching, Merchandising, and Junior Golf Leader. Mr. Longenecker was one of two PGA Members in the United States to speak at the 2019 PGA Expo in Las Vegas, NV about building alternative revenue streams and generating business through simulator golf. He was also featured in the national radio broadcast Tee to Green on simulator promotion. He and his wife Kim have been married since 1993 and have two girls Kylee and Sara. His hobbies include fly fishing on the Missouri River and coming up with new recipes in the kitchen.

  • Michael Burrall - Assistant Golf Professional

      Born and raised in the Midwest, Michael worked in Golf Course Maintenance at courses in Ohio and California for 17 years before moving to Great Falls in 1992. He began his career as a Golf Professional at Meadow Lark Country Club, serving as an Assistant from 1992 through the spring of 1995 when he became the Head Golf Professional at the City of Great Falls Anaconda Hills Golf Course. During his tenure at AHGC, Michael became a Class A member of the PGA of America and in 2003 was presented with the Junior Golf Leader of The Year Award by the Western Montana Chapter of the PGA. Michael returned to Meadow Lark in 2007 as 1st Assistant Professional where he is able to pursue his passion for teaching both juniors and adults. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Western Montana Chapter of the PGA, and has twice been honored as the Western Montana Chapter PGA Assistant Golf Professional of the Year. He has a passion for golf history and golf course architecture and will stump the best of them regarding golf trivia. Michael is married to his wife of 41 years, Kim and they have 3 grown children. He is active in his church and in his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family and chasing his 5 grandchildren around!

  • Bonnie Cham-a-Koon - Assistant Tennis Professional

      Bonnie was born and raised in the Midwest. She began her tennis career as head coach for the High School Men’s Tennis team in Brookville, Ohio. In those 5 years, she also started the women’s program. Bonnie has been an assistant Pro in the Midwest and Georgia before working at Meadow Lark. Bonnie has been very involved in Montana Tennis and is currently a certified Provisional umpire. She has served on the MTA Board of Directors as Vice President and President. She was instrumental in bringing the USTA Schools Programs to Great Falls.

  • Bryce Thompson - Food and Beverage Director
  • Jim Duehlmeier - Executive Chef
    • Executive Chef

      Jim started cooking in 1984 at the historic Hotel Utah as an apprentice chef.  In 1986 he finished my apprenticeship at Caneel Bay Resort in St. John, US Virgin Islands.  He has worked at Jackson Lake Lodge, Anguilla BVI, and Roaring Gab Country Club in NC.  Later moving back to Utah and working at several country clubs there.  Jim has 2 boys, Dylan 27, and Sam 16.  They both started playing hockey at the age of 4.  In his free time he enjoy fly fishing, camping, hockey, and motorcycle rides. 

  • Sharlys Burnett - Catering Director

      Sharlys has been with Meadow Lark Country Club since April of 1994. From 1994 to 2008 she worked part-time as a food server in the formal dining room. In 2008 she was promoted to the position of bar manager and has been a full-time employee since. Sharlys has over 30 years of experience in the food and beverage industry. She started her career at the age of fourteen working in a small family owned restaurant located in Glenwood, Oregon. While working there an elderly gentleman gave her this piece of advice “Honey, always stay in the food business because people have to eat.” It must have been good advice because she has never been unemployed. Sharlys was born here in Great Falls. She moved to Springfield, Oregon as a young girl and is a graduate of Springfield High. As a young woman she moved back to Great Falls to be near her sister and mother. She has two children and three grandchildren.  Her son (Tayler), daughter (Sharlyn) and grandchildren (Aleah, Kingston and Pharaoh) all live in Eugene, Oregon.  Sharlys enjoys music, art, reading and spending time with family. She has been a violist in the Great Falls Youth Symphony since 1998. She also enjoys drawing portraits in pencil.

  • Kim Burrall - HR and Office Manager
    • Office Manager

      Kim Burrall began as Office Manager at Meadow Lark Country Club in June 2008, and in addition became the Human Resources Manager in September 2010. A 13-year Country Club employee, she began working part time in the Golf Shop and eventually became the Golf Shop Manager before moving into the Business Office. She feels very blessed to have an opportunity to serve the members, as well as the employees from all the different departments and loves the variety and challenges the job presents each day. Kim and her husband Michael have 3 married children and 3 grandsons who they love spending time with.

  • Tim Furan - Superintendant
    • Superintendent

      Tim began as the golf course superintendent at MLCC in October of 2005. He has been on a grounds crew every year since he graduated from Great Falls High School in 1995. Tim graduated from Montana State University with a degree in Horticulture-Turfgrass Science in 2000. During his time at MSU he completed internships at the Powder Horn Golf Club in Sheridan, Wyoming under Mike Saffel, and at MLCC under Tom Ask. Tim's favorite part of being superintendent at MLCC is never missing a sunrise at such a beautiful course along the Missouri River. In his spare time, Tim enjoys coaching, snowshoeing, hiking, attending MSU football games, and anything sports related.
